A Word From the Pastor

I consider it a great privilege and honor to lead North River Bible Baptist. I know God is continuing to build our church, using us as His vessels. I look forward with anticipation to what He will accomplish as we serve together, following His guidance, direction, and using the wisdom and power He gives us through the Holy Spirit. I am truly delighted to be a servant of a congregation that is serious about learning and understanding Scripture. We believe the Bible is the Word of God. We believe Scripture is God-breathed and inspired. We stand by the doctrines of inerrancy and infallibility. We desire to seek, exegesis, and interpret Scripture. This is God’s church and all that is happening here is a direct result of His sovereign will and kindness to His people. God works through the obedience and faithfulness of His people. God is so gracious toward us in his leading and we are so thankful to Him for our church family and the ways we are growing through experiencing the attributes of a Spirit-filled, unified, and togetherness body. Our church is developing a culture of discipleship whereby we can come alongside each other to help each other in our times of need. Often through practical help such as funeral spray, flowers, meals, fruit baskets, helping hands, hospital visits, resources, or just an encouraging word. We have seen church family members come around each other in so many situations. It's because of empathy, compassion, and intimacy that we realize the beauty of the church as we reflect our Savior and love working together. We are also thankful for a family of God’s people who seek to show a selfless commitment and humble spirit and a church who jumps generously when one of us is in despair. Will you join me in thanking God for our 5th pastor and church anniversary? We are not seeking perfection but direction and desiring more growth in us as we live out the character of Jesus Christ. What a joy it is to be the pastor of our family-oriented, Christ-centered church.
